First, Midwest Dairy is excited to announce its newest partnership, Marco’s Pizza. This national pizza brand brings unique opportunities to connect with consumers through dairy innovation. Recently, Midwest Dairy collaborated with Marco’s Pizza to bring consumers a new Fiery Flavors spicy cheese blend. This blend, featuring Carolina Reaper peppers, was added to a number of delicious menu items offered by Marco’s Pizza. Midwest Dairy collaborated with social media influencers to bring retro dairy nostalgia to Generation Z (Gen Z) consumers throughout our 10-state region. Midwest Dairy teamed up with 22 individuals for a special ‘unboxing’ event, where Midwest Dairy sent influencers a retro dairy box filled with goodies that tickled their desire for nostalgia. These influencers shared their experiences of unboxing these dairy-focused products, sharing in their own voices the joy of reliving their favorite dairy memories.
To continue growing dairy leaders, Midwest Dairy offers training opportunities throughout our region and throughout the year. One of these opportunities includes “Breaking Through the Noise” training in collaboration with Janice Person, the founder and CEO of Grounded Communications. This training initiative equips dairy farmers with essential storytelling and communications kills for today’s digital age. The insightful tools and tactics shared during this training supports dairy farmers efforts to share their story in their local communities. Farmers interested in participating in these trainings are encouraged to contact their respective Midwest Dairy Farmer Relations manager to learn more.
A tactic to grow trust in dairy among consumers is sharing dairy farmer’s stories through partner activations. One such activation is Midwest Dairy’s continued work with Runza, a quick-service restaurant with 88 locations throughout our 10-state region. For the past three years, Midwest Dairy and Runza have partnered during the summer and fall months to highlight a local farm family and feature a dairy product on their menu to drive dairy sales. This year, Runza rebranded its menu of shakes and introduced new flavors while at the same time featuring Holsteins Unlimited, a local farm family from Leigh, Nebraska. Learn more about this activation and more in our Dairy Promotion Update!
