Educators, access the Food and Agriculture Center for Science Education’s Media Mayhem materials. In this high school 5E unit, students will research whether or not the production of milk is good or bad for the environment. They’ll also explore media claims about the impact of dairy on the environment as well as use engineering skills to evaluate solutions to reduce the dairy sector’s environmental impact. These materials earned the a badge for high quality from the Next Generation of Science Standards (NGSS).
