Dierbergs Markets and Midwest Dairy partnered to celebrate ice cream during July. This partner is based out of St. Louis, Missouri, and has 26 locations throughout Missouri and Illinois.
This activation focused primarily on boosting sales through the Dierbergs rewards app. Midwest Dairy supported this effort with marketing and promotional funding of a summer nights program titled “Savings Afloat!” This program offered a free soda (7-up, Dr. Pepper, A&W, or Sunkist) with the purchase of one Blue Bell Ice Cream.
This offer ran for three weekends starting the week of July 9 and was shared through Facebook and Instagram, email, the Dierbergs app, and a digital weekly ad. As a result of this campaign, over 190,000 incremental pounds of milk were sold.
