From July to September 2024, Midwest Dairy partnered with Kwik Trip/Kwik Star to promote their limited-time offer (LTO) Triple Chocolate Brownie Fudge ice cream pints—this collaboration aimed to foster innovation in the dairy industry and boost sales through a consumer awareness campaign.
The promotional activities included a 15-second in-store television advertisement, cooler clings, and online advertising for the ice cream. The in-store videos played a continuous loop, showcasing ice cream facts and encouraging purchases. Over the course of the campaign, the video was played over 44 million times across all. This campaign successfully drove 278,000 incremental pounds of milk.
Kwik Trip/Kwik Star operates over 800 stores across Illinois, Iowa (where it is branded as Kwik Star), Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. To conclude the year, they are offering one last LTO flavor: Peppermint. This seasonal flavor will be available in stores until the end of the year.
