To strengthen trust in dairy among college students, Midwest Dairy partnered with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Campus Recreation Department. On March 2nd, a booth at the rec center entrance featured dairy trivia, giveaways, cow care messages, and samples of dairy products. With the help of dairy ambassador Clara Bates, the spin wheel became a popular activity where students answered dairy-related questions about animal care, wellness, sustainability, and their love of dairy.
More than 360 students—whether heading to the gym, attending fitness classes, or participating in intramural sports—visited the campus recreation center during this event. More than 200 dairy samples, including flavored milk, high-protein and lactose-free options, and individual cottage cheese packs, were distributed.
The Campus Rec plays a vital role in helping Midwest Dairy connect with students and build trust with Gen Z. We look forward to continuing this partnership in 2025.
