Midwest Dairy had the opportunity to share more about its partnership with Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on a recent episode of Your Dairy Checkoff podcast. During the podcast, Midwest Dairy interviewed Vice President of Brand Marketing at Freddy’s Erin Walter, who explained how this partnership drives new dairy product innovations, specifically through Limited-Time Offers (LTOs). Freddy’s uses LTOs to excite customers and encourage visits its over 500 restaurant locations to enjoy their new products.

This fall, Midwest Dairy and Freddy’s partnered again for an LTO featuring their popular Grilled Cheese Steakburger, along with new pumpkin pie and caramel apple pie concretes and shakes. The Grilled Cheese Steakburger, first launched in 2023, became the single best-selling item of any promotion in 2023. The campaign reached 1.5 million people and generated a total incremental dairy volume of 2.2 million pounds.
